3rd DAY (16th Febuary 2011)

During the afternoon we are being taught how to differentiate between the species of dengue by looking at the special characteristic of the larvae.The different species will be confirm by looking at the combteeth of the larvae.

Besdies, they will collect 5 larvae from the house. If out of 5 larvae,3 are aedes mosquito, that particular person will be fine.

 

Amout of Fine

Around 5.30pm we were taught the tools before fogging.The usual time for fogging will be (5am-7am) or (6pm-8pm), because these are the time all the aedes mosquito actively come out.

                     Oil type of fogging solution (ACTELLIC)

                      KO3 - solution use againts MALARIA

After knowing all the tools and rules, We heading to KAMPUNG BARU KOTA MANGKUANG.

First we inform all the residents around there and alert them the time and place of fogging.

Advices to the residents:

1) Close all the food with a proper cover

2) Open all the doors and windows

3) Any child?? yes - bring out and dont keep them at home
