Yeah...!!! After a long journey towards the north on the highway, we finally hit the Jitra exit. Along the way we feasted our eyes with the breathtaking view of the sunrise over the vast green paddy field. How lucky we felt... First time stepping into this Northern region, we thought that we were lost just to find out later that we were on the correct path all along.
At last our cars appeared in front of the Kubang Pasu District Health Office. We were welcomed with a warm smile on face by the officers there.The fine morning started with a welcome speech by Mr.Mohamad Hussain. He introduced himself as the Ketua Penolong Pergawai Kesihatan Persekitaran; under whom the Food Quality Control and the Communicable Disease Control (CDC) units are situated. He further briefed us about the vision, mision and the objectives of the Kubang Pasu District Health Office. Due to an important meeting with his higher authories, he had to hand over us to his assistant Penolong Pergawai Kesihatan Persekitaran, Puan Nor Dian bt Nanyan.

The pleasant looking middle-aged lady officer provided the schedule and briefed us about each activities which will be carried out in next 2 weeks of the posting.
